Before long he heard about joining Star Fleet to be a helmsman. While he wasn't overly enthusiastic about the idea, he figured he'd at least give it a shot and see how it turned out. While he was in however he was exposed to a whole differant world. Fighter Piloting. He displayed an early skill for it well into his career and he was soon groomed by all the staff. They recognized his passion and drive. He was motivated to get his wings and fly.

By Graduation he was given distuingishment and was promoted shortly after. His first assignment was onboard a carrier ship in a tactical fighter wing. Most of his time was spent doing patrols and escort runs for merchant ships or larger capital ships. He soon got a callsign nicknamed Shadow. His wingmates often said he had a way of coming from out of nowhere and getting the drop on his enemy.

After a while his term was up and he was put up for reassignment. He noticed that several ships had openings and really couldn't decide on what go with next. It was suggested to him by an old friend at the acadamy he take the position on the Cassiopia because he'd be a commander and have more opportunities to fly dispite the increased responsiblity. Relunctantly he agreed and put in for the position. It wasn't long before he was transfered aboard, and then disaster struck and he was met with his first combat mission aboard the Cassi.

Following that engagement Adrian was also assigned as the Chief Helms officer, doubling his work load. Eventually he was pulled from the hanger and assigned to the bridge as the Second Officer. As the Cassi mounted a rescue attempt to free it's hostage crew from the White Empire, Rain was assigned the chief flight officer. Handling the shuttle that ferried most of the rescued crew back. When they returned the Cassi fired up it's slipstream drive and headed back for home.

Only to find themselves knee deep in a conspiracy. But during all this Rain still found time for Love. He married the Captain at the time, Lee Ann Masters. But when Admiral Craigs destroyed the Cassiopia, she was demoted and knocked down to Commander. In time they were given a second ship, the Cassiopia B, a Galaxy II class ship. As they investigated the events prior to destruction of thier last ship they eventually pinned it down to Craigs. Tracking him back to an unused Cardassian station it was discovered he was engineering a special bio warefare agent to be used in eliminating all the Alien Races of the Alpha and Beta quadrants.

Using post dominion war Cardassians, Jem Hadar, and Breen Scientists, Craigs was hoping to implement his weapon soon. But the intervention of the Cassi threw his plans into chaos. Making a hasty retreat he followed the Cassiopia back, jamming it's comms and attacking it slowly and painfully. However the Leonidas came to it's rescue and helped fend off Craigs for now. Lee Ann Masters/Rain didn't survive the attack and died a short time after what was left of the Cassiopia was towed back to DeepSpace 15. There Adrian was debriefed by Vice Admiral 'Jack' Carter. As the two spoke they quickly connected as peers and co workers. Both mutually understanding what the other had been through, and what they were going to face together in the times to come.

Armed with a New Ship and an official placement as CO of the Cassiopia C, a Sovereign II class ship fresh from R&D Adrian is tasked with tracking down all the agents of this Illuminati and bringing them to justice. Since recieving his new vessel Rain has helped take part in the investigation and conclusion of an almost destructive political disaster as one of Craigs' vessels opened fire on a Romulan Warbird and came very close to destorying it. The Cassi and crew arraived to find both ships heavily damaged and adrift with minimal life signs. The crew rescued as many as they could from both ships and began to treat them. In the process however the crew of the USS Wyvernn attempted a coup to take over the ship and report back to Craigs, with the additional prize of Rain in tow. However thanks to his finely trained crew and shipmates they were able to retake the Cassi with a minimum loss of life and help smooth over the issue with the Romulans.

As time passed, Jack and Rain grew closer together. The two found together more and more frequently in public developed a very close relationship and an even closer bond. To the point that they discovered a connection so close that Jack referred to it as Imzadi in betazoid. Explained to Rain it meant Soul or Lifemate. Adrian liked that aot and intended to live up to it in ernest. But before he could he had to make sure it would be safe to first. But before he could duty always came first, and so the two had to part ways again on seperate paths of thier career.

Now the crew is investigating Craigs involvement with the borg and discovering the rabbit hole only goes deeper than they can see...
