Faith Hill

She was recruited at the age of 14 by the chief of the deck to assist in repairing the ships and occasionally pilot the fighters between platforms. By the time she was 18 she knew the systems of all the fighters in current use and had gained the rudimentary skills of piloting. She then joined Starfleet Fighter academy and after 4 years in which she was the squadron leader of her class every year.

After she was finished she left as 1st Lt and was assigned to Starbase 218 where she met Ian Hill a fellow pilot after a few missions together saving each other on numerous occasions and numerous nights of drinking together they realised that there was something more than just wing mates. After months of hiding there relationship from there commander they got married in secret.

Soon after there squadron was sent to investigate a sensor anomaly. When they arrived they where confronted by 5 romulan warbirds and before the squadron could scramble home Ian's ship was shot out the sky. After this Faith started to take more and more risks however her skills saved her on numerous occasions however she was seriously injured after attempting to single handedly take down a romulan warbird and her fighter was seriously damaged. When she landed the fighter in the hanger the control console exploded slashing down her left arm.

In another incident was out side of the cockpit when she crashed the fighter on a romulan planet but instead of hiding she decided to attack a patrol of 6 romulans. With the element of surprise she managed to take 4 of them down quickly before one of them slashed her down her back. She was then able to take down the remaining two and was rescued shortly after before she lost too much blood. After a few months of reckless behaviour she was assigned to train pilots back at academy. She found herself calming down and her anger and hatred was becoming a more useful force in her life.

Once she had proven to her superiors she was able to return to active duty she returned but not as a pilot but as a squadron leader of the 801st fighter squadron . In this role she excelled finding she had a natural skill for coordinating people in combat. She served in many battles and surviving with most of her squadron intact even when command had written them off not only made her popular with her subordinates but also made her squadron one of the most sot after postings for pilots.

At this point Command decided to extend her squadron into the 45th fighter wing. Spending most of her time at the romulan federation border she engaged the romulans at ever turn until she received a transmittion that the romulans had found and destroyed the Starfighter Command station and as the highest ranking officer remaining it was her job to take over the command and try to reorder and put back together the tattered structure.
